Chef Tutti Perricone

Tutti Perricone is the owner of the Back Street Café & Catering Company in Middleburg, VA. Tutti has been working in the restaurant business for 39 years and has owned The Back Street Café for 25. During those years, she started out as a dishwasher, then bus girl, followed by waitress, dining room manager, bartender and a bookkeeper, all before she opened Back Street in 1986.

Since 1986, Tutti has demonstrated her strong passion for cooking and eating. She has created a restaurant where simple, well prepared food, is its mainstay. Using local fresh ingredients whenever possible, Tutti and her right hand girl Mandy, create fresh and delicious food for the Café as well as the Catering.

Friday evening hors d'oeuvres

  • Ahi Tuna Tartare with avocado, served on crispy fried wontons
  • Bruschetta with Pears and Blue Cheese drizzled with organic honey
  • Cajun Chicken Cakes

Saturday evening dinner

  • Soup: Roasted Root Vegetable Soup garnished with crème fraiche
  • Salad: Organic Greens with candied pecans and goats cheese
  • Main Course:
    • Grilled Pork Tenderloin with Bourbon and Brown Sugar Marinade & Dijon horseradish sauce
    • Grilled Polenta Squares with parmesan cheese
    • Fresh Sauteed Vegetable Medley in virgin olive oil and fresh basil
