Briar Patch Bed and Breakfast Inn is the ideal location for your destination wedding in Virginia.  Whether it's a small, medium or large wedding or party; an indoor, outdoor, or combination wedding or party; or a weekend or weekday wedding or party – we have a wedding package that fits your needs and your budget.  For weekend weddings, most people have the rehearsal dinner on Friday night in a grassy area by the pool, the ceremony on Saturday outside in one of several locations on the property, the cocktail reception in front of the main house, and dinner and dancing in The Fox Den at Briar Patch building.  Below you can see the various pricing options.

Inclusives:

  • Rental of all bedrooms in the main house & the one-bedroom cottage for two nights, accommodating up to 18 people, is required.
  • Use of our reception facility (The Fox Den at Briar Patch) for up to 200 people (with pricing as noted).
  • Exclusive use of the property from Friday at 4:00 pm to Sunday at noon.
  • Tables and chairs for use indoors in The Fox Den at Briar Patch.
  • The grounds for the wedding ceremony or other outdoor activities. If the ceremony is to be outside on the grass, rental of chairs for use on the grass is required.
  • The pool area or Fox Den for a rehearsal dinner or party.
  • Full hot breakfast on both mornings for 18 guests staying at the B&B. There will be an extra charge of $20 per person to serve breakfast to more than 18 people.
  • The B&B’s 24’ x 48’ pool when open and the oversized hot tub all year.
  • Ample free parking.

Optional Additional Costs:

  • Alcoholic Beverages – We can provide wine, beer, and alcohol at 15% over our wholesale cost or you can provide your own.
  • Babysitting is available for an additional cost.
  • A shuttle to/from area hotels is available for an additional cost.

Payment Schedule:

A deposit of 50% of all fees is due and payable upon receipt of the signed contract by Briar Patch B&B Inn, which guarantees your date. The remaining 50% is due and payable 90 days before the event.

Cancellation Policy:

The 50% deposit is non-refundable should the event be cancelled at any time for any reason. Cancellation ninety (90) days or less from the first day of the scheduled stay will result in forfeiture of the remaining 50% fees plus taxes.

  • Pricing same as above with a 20% discount. Low season pricing does not apply to holidays in low season.
  • Rental of all bedrooms in the main house and the cottage for at least one night may be required for Fridays, Saturdays, and holidays.
  • Other policies above are the same, although we do have flexibility with our policies and pricing in low season.
